The Most Dangerous Places Near Water – and How to Make Them Safer When we...
The Fire Cabinet is a weather-resistant fire extinguisher cabinet designed for outdoor, marine and industrial environments where extinguishers must remain protected, visible and ready for use.
Its impact-resistant construction and corrosion-free material make it a durable storage solution for long-term use in exposed waterfront and industrial installations.
Fire extinguishers installed outdoors are exposed to rain, dust, UV radiation, salt-laden air and physical wear. In harbors, marinas, quays, industrial facilities and public outdoor areas, this exposure can reduce visibility, shorten service life and compromise readiness when equipment is needed quickly.
The Fire Cabinet is designed to protect extinguishers in these demanding conditions while keeping them accessible and easy to identify. The cabinet combines corrosion-free polyethylene construction with a sealed door design, making it suitable for installations where ordinary indoor storage solutions are not sufficient.
Compared with unprotected extinguisher placement, a dedicated cabinet helps improve durability, cleanliness and operational readiness. The bright red housing supports visibility in emergency situations, while the robust construction helps reduce damage caused by weather, impact and long-term outdoor exposure.
For projects where fire protection equipment must be placed in exposed environments, the cabinet supports practical planning, safer storage and a more durable installation strategy. It is especially relevant where equipment needs to remain available over time with minimal maintenance burden.

The Fire Cabinet should be installed where fire extinguishers must remain easy to locate, protected from weather and quickly accessible in an emergency. Suitable locations include piers, quays, marinas, industrial yards, public waterfronts, transport areas and service points.
For Shore Safety installations, the cabinet can be mounted on 60 mm posts using the supplied brackets. It may also be mounted on walls or other stable structures depending on site requirements. Position the cabinet at a visible and reachable height, with sufficient clearance for the door to open fully and for the extinguisher to be removed without obstruction.
